Basil and African Blue Basil

Usage: Use as a flavorful garnish for Italian dishes. Make a home-made pesto, tomato basil sauce, or chimmichurri. Toss whole leaves onto pizza. Chop into salads or use as a garnish for avocado toast with your CSA avocados!

Storage: Basil can be stored like a fresh-picked flower. Snip off the fibrous end of the stems and store in a glass or jar with water at the bottom. Another way to store basil is to remove the leaves from the stems and store the leaves in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
