Citrus

Usage: Enjoy fruits whole. Squeeze lemons into main dishes for extra flavor — acidity is a major ingredient to great flavor. Add orange zest to baked goods and as a garnish. Incorporate any citrus into a tea using the tea bundle from your CSA box (see easy tea recipe under the recipes tab).

Storage:

Oranges, grapefruit and tangerines - Try to use within one week! You can store these on the kitchen counter or in your refrigerator if you like to keep them colder.

Lemons - Store as long as 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator, or 3-5 days on the kitchen counter. Lemons build up their juice at room temperature, so try to pull them from the refrigerator 3-5 days before you intend to use them!
