IS YOUR PRODUCE ORGANIC?
Yes! We believe strongly in supporting organic principles and practices. Through our official organic certification, we aim to create and grow trust in the organic industry. Sow A Heart is certified through CCOF, the nation's premier and oldest organic certifying body.
What are regenerative practices?
Regenerative agriculture is us going back to our roots. We focus on the land and the soil. We rotate our animals on pasture, which helps draw carbon into the soil – as opposed to being released into the atmosphere. Rotational grazing encourages perennial grasses and clover, which feeds the animals and produces the best soil possible. do you use any Pesticides?
We are 100% pesticide free.
DO YOU GROW ALL THE FOOD IN YOUR BOXES?
All the food featured in our CSA Boxes is grown by us and Ayala Farm.
CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY BOX?
Due to the high volume of orders, we are unable to fulfill customizations.
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT MY DELIVERY?
We deliver hundreds of boxes each week, so determining an exact delivery time can be difficult. Our general hours of delivery are typically between 8am and 4pm. Please contact us directly if you need an estimated delivery time.
Concerned about your box contents sitting out in the sun? Leave a cooler outside your door! We will gladly place the contents of your box in a cooler to ensure your veggies stay fresh.
Do you re-use your boxes?
Yes! We love to re-use the boxes whenever possible. Leaving boxes outside your door or at your drop off location emptied and unfolded is the best way to see that they get reused.
I AM GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN, CAN I PUT A HOLD ON MY BOX?
Yes! At any time you can pause and reactivate your subscription.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We allow cancellations at any time for any reason. Just sign into your account, click on your order and modify your subscription to cancel.
I’M LOOKING TO CARRY YOUR PRODUCE AT MY RESTAURANT OR GROCERY STORE. CAN I ORDER PRODUCE?

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
Each box features 12 weekly-rotating vegetables, herbs, and, when it’s available, fruit! We feature produce grown on our farm and by our fellow California organic farmers. We announce what’s going into the upcoming week’s box every Tuesday through our weekly newsletter, and we will post on our Instagram and Facebook stories throughout the week. You can sign up to receive our weekly newsletter at the bottom of this page. Go ahead, we promise not to bug you too much ;)
CAN I VISIT THE FARM?
We are a working farm so can’t accommodate visitors on a regular basis. However, we do want to see you! We offer private tours and school tours via reservations.
