Olive Leaf
Usage: Use in a tea for great medicinal properties (see our recipe). A tea can also be made with just olive leaf and citrus juice.
Storage: Store like a fresh-picked flower. Snip off the fibrous end of the stems and put in a glass or jar with water at the bottom. Or, dry the leaves. You can do this one of two ways, however, you can use olive leaf in a tea without drying them! The first way to dry olive leaf is to remove the leaves, tie them tightly together with a string and hang outside in a warm, dry, breezy place for 3-5 days or until they are crumbly in your hands. This is the best way to dry the leaves into a tea. Another way is to remove the leaves from the stem and keep in an open bowl in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Stir daily until dried.
